My Testimony: I was raised in a home by Christian parents. Whenever the church doors were open they would try to be there. Because of that, the Christian walk has been an important part of our home. I can remember at a very early age, in Sunday school or Bible school that I raised my hand for salvation because others did, but it wasn't until I really realized I had a need of Christ in my lift did I submit my life to Him. It was a custom in our church to pray around the alter after the evening service. It was at that time I felt dads arm on my shoulder and he encouraged me to accept the Lord.

After coming home from Korea I started farming with my dad and soon married my wife Naomi which will be 50 years in September. We have two children, Mike who farms most of our ground and has never married, and Brenda who is married to Bill Root who is volleyball coach in Grand Island, Ne. They have four children, three boys and a girl.

It has been my honor to be associated with Praise Radio for many years. I have seen God bless the ministry in so many ways. It's such an encouragement to hear and read the testimonies because of Christian Radio and the impact it has had to the listening audience. Lives have been changed and Christians have been uplifted through this ministry. We feel blessed of the Lord through the years and are reminded in Proverbs 2 to accept God's word and store up His commands, and through that we will find a knowledge of the Lord. Through the teaching and music on radio it has been a spiritual tool in our walk with the Lord.
